Écosse, et pas que les petits pois !: Promenade à Saint Andrews / Walking through Saint Andrews

Samedi nous sommes allés à Saint Andrews. Pour Chéri, c'était la grande aventure car il découvrait pour la première fois cette ville. Quand à moi, ce fut ma deuxième escapade là-bas. (Et en plus j'avais fait une faute d'orthographe dans mes précédents article en mentionnant le nom de la ville ! Ouh, ouh, le grand embarra.)
Lorsque nous nous sommes dirigés vers le château et le littoral, c'était en début d'après-midi, mais une brume commençait à s'installer. Et s'est dissipée dans l'heure qui a suivit.
Donc voici quelques photos. Surtout du petit port de pêche.

Saturday we went to Saint Andrews. To Chéri, it was a new adventure as it discovered the city for the first time. It was my second time there. (I even misspelled the city's name in my previous posts! I really am embarrased.)
When we started to go toward the castle and the coast, it was the begining of the afternoon, but there was a mist coming down. And went off the next hour.
So here are some pictures I took then. Mostly of the small harbour there.

Commençons avec / Let's start with: Saint Andrews University

Elle a été fondée entre 1410 et 1413, et c'est la plus vieille université d'Écosse. La troisième plus ancienne dans le "monde anglophone", et elle fait partie des 25 plus vieilles universités au monde ! Et si le "Sait Andrews University" vous dit quelque chose c'est tout bêtement là où le Prince William et Kate ont étudié...

Saint Andrews University was found between 1410 and 1413, it's the oldest one in Scotland, and the third one in U.K. And to finish one of the 25 oldest universities world wide! By the way if "Saint Andrews University" rings you a bell, it's simply there that Prince William and Kate studied...
